The assassin's boomerang is a bladed throwing weapon of an unnamed assassin whom Stella Warden employs to assassinate Dr. Elias Huer.
During Huer's walk-and-talk through an arboretum with William "Buck" Rogers and Wilma Deering, Huer's assassin opens up their boomerang's case, coating the blade with a compound—presumably fatal—and throws it at their intended target. Rogers is able to distract the assassin, forcing them to flee after their boomerang becomes embedded into a nearby tree trunk (BR25: "Planet of the Slave Girls").
