Lieutenant Dia Cyrton is a Genesian woman assigned to protect Genesian's Earth-born president, Hieronymus Fox, in 2491 CE.
After Fox's abduction by Roderick Zale's agents, Cyrton approaches Dr. Elias Huer to solicit the Earth Directorate's assistance. Officially receiving a rejection by Huer due to Genesia's status as an independent planet, William "Buck" Rogers encounters her just as she leaves, revealing that she is not only aware of who he is but also references his work on extricating Jan Burton from Zeta. Sometime later, Cyrton goes to Buck's Apartment when he prepares to leave for a vacation with Tangie, drugging him via hypospray and therefore susceptible to her directions.
Cyrton absconds with both Rogers and his thunderfighter, explaining Fox's origins to him and the reason why Genesia went out of its way to avoid entanglements with Earth, all while en route to Aldeberan II (BR25: "Cosmic Whiz Kid").
Rogers and Wilma Deering are en route to Genesia to meet Cyrton and Fox for five days, but their trip was cut short by their encounter with a Vorvon at Theta Station while bringing Twiki there for repairs (BR25: "Space Vampire").
Note
- The orange costume top is either a reuse of or the same style as the ensemble worn by Ryma in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century's "Planet of the Slave Girls".
