Sinaloa, located in the Delta star system, is one of twelve artificial satellites, each with a unique purpose.
Sinaloa differentiates itself from its peers in the fact that it is entirely an entertainment and gambling venue, consisting of various casinos, showrooms, and hotels. As it is outside of the purview of the Stellar Authorities and the Earth Federation, it is run exclusively by Morgan Velosi, who acts as the authoritarian governor whose word is, effectively, law.
Upon being briefed on Sinaloa, William "Buck" Rogers likens the locale to a "Las Vegas in space" (BR25: "Vegas in Space").
