The Earth Federation is the sole unified government of Earth and her off-world colonies. The Federation was founded some time after World War III, the war that left Earth nearly devastated. The Earth Federation is also responsible for foreign and diplomatic relations with other species, given the reliance of Earth and its citizenry on external sources for food, water, and other vital supplies.
Government

The Federation is run by a body known as the Computer Council which runs much of the Federation‘s affairs.
Military

The Earth Federation primary military defense force is the Earth Defense Directorate, responsible for defending Earth from threats foreign and domestic.
