A tractor beam, called a force field by Draconians, is an energy-based field capable of repelling or moving objects.
Draconia employs the use of such a beam to retrieve Ranger 3, after three of Draconia's Hatchet fighters tow the craft—by conjoining their ships' force field emitters in a triangular formation—into Draconia's range (BR25: "Awakening").
Thunderfighters are outfitted with a tractor beam, allowing it to tow larger crafts (BR25: "The Plot to Kill a City, Part I", "Planet of the Amazon Women").
