The combat computer is an electronic suite outfitted in Earth Defense Directorate Thunderfighter craft, designed and programmed to be effective in both offensive and defensive situations, beyond the abilities of human pilots.
In 2491 CE, Draconian Hatchet fighters and their pilots are able to outpace the combat computers to deleterious effect, such as the the faux pirate ambush on Draconia during their "peace mission" to Earth, wiping out all but two of the Third Force of the Earth Directorate's squadron (BR25: Film, "Awakening").
