Councilor Apol is a member of the Earth's Computer Council in the 25th century.

Doctor Theopolis (Theo) is a member of the Earth's Computer Council in the 25th century. Theo is known for his logical and thoughtful approach and, unlike other of his computerized class, holds humans in high regard. His primary function is as an intermediary between the Computer Council, Doctor Elias Huer, and select members of the Earth Defense Directorate. Amongst his other duties, he is also responsible for the environmental control within New Chicago.
In 2491 CE, he presents the Federal Directorate's case against buck following the discovery of a microtransmitter aboard Ranger 3. Despite Dr. Theopolis' defense, the Council is unanimous in its decision, which Apol presents: Rogers' immediate termination. A stay of execution is later advocated by Col. Wilma Deering, and presented to the Council by Dr. Elias Huer, which is accepted despite Apol's protest Awakening.

Due to Theopolis' lack of built in ambulatory features, he is carried by a drone-type ambuquad, Twiki.
Notes
In 2491, Theopolis debriefs William "Buck" Rogers following his return to Earth in Ranger 3. Following his debriefing, Theopolis acts as Rogers' defense from charges brought up by the Computer Council after discovering the Draconian transmitter aboard his craft. Despite his logical assumption that they would find him innocent, he is astonished when his fellow Concil members find Rogers guilty of treason and sentence him for execution Awakening.
* A subplot depicted in the Gold Key comic adaptation of the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century film notes that Apol had been the one betraying the human race, as Kane had been involved with its programming before his defection to the Draconian Empire. Apol itself is subsequently terminated.

 — Councilor Apol presents their case against William "Buck" Rogers for espionage and treason, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century's "Awakening"

Councilor Apol is a member of the Earth's Computer Council in the 25th century.

In 2491 CE, he presents the Federal Directorate's case against William "Buck" Rogers following the discovery of a microtransmitter aboard Ranger 3. Despite Dr. Theopolis' defense, the Council is unanimous in its decision, which Apol presents: Rogers' immediate termination. A stay of execution is later advocated by Col. Wilma Deering, and presented to the Council by Dr. Elias Huer, which is accepted despite Apol's protest (BR25: "Awakening").
